Ladies and Gents,
You may have seen a new member of the club lounging around the bar who is not very sociable. ('What about some of the old one's?' i hear you say !)
He is in all probability our new Man Over Board practice dummy !The dummy was bought by the Ogston fund and can used by any sailors on the East Coast of Scotland for practising man over board recovery. He can be booked through the Marina office for up to a week at a time. Non-Port Edgar berth owners may be required to leave a £50 deposit. If the dummy is not returned on time then there may also be a £10 per week charge. The Marina management have kindly arranged storage as he is likely to get a bit smelly. Thanks to Oli Ludlow for organising all of this.
